About Dr. Kevin Zarsky and Dr. Darcy Burnett

River City Dental was co-founded in Edmonton by Dr. Von Hagen and Dr. Zarsky in 2002. In 2008, Dr. Zarsky took over as sole owner. He has worked jointly with Dr. Burnett at the dental practice this entire time. They are joined by a superb team of support staff including registered dental hygienists, experienced assistants, and knowledgeable front-office administration.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Kevin Zarsky

B.SC. D.D.S.

Dr. Zarsky was born and raised in Edmonton. Following his graduation from Austin O’Brien High School, he attended the University of Alberta, where he received his B.Sc. (with Distinction) in 1994, followed by his D.D.S. (with Distinction) degree in 1996. Dr. Zarsky has proudly served patients from the greater Edmonton area for the past 25 years.

Since graduation, Dr. Zarsky has furthered his dental education through numerous seminars and courses, focusing on the latest technological advances and methodologies in the field of dentistry including CEREC.

In his spare time, Dr. Zarsky enjoys volunteering with his daughter’s dance association and his son’s hockey club. He especially enjoys travelling with his family, golfing, playing hockey and just generally keeping active.

Dr. Darcy Burnett

DIP. HYG. B.SC. D.D.S.

Dr. Burnett was born and raised in Edmonton. Following her graduation from M.E. Lazerte High School, she attended the University of Alberta, where she received her B.Sc. Diploma in Dental Hygiene (with Distinction) in 1993. After working for 2 years as a registered dental hygienist, she returned to the U of A to continue her dental studies. In 1999, Dr. Burnett graduated with her D.D.S. (with Distinction) and has been proudly serving patients as a dentist for the past 22 years.

Since graduation, Dr. Burnett has furthered her dental knowledge through numerous continuing education seminars and courses, focusing on her best dental practices and how to deliver up-to-date treatment modalities.

In her spare time, Dr. Burnett enjoys travelling with her family, golfing, and keeping active. She keeps particularly active being involved with her children’s taekwondo, daughter’s hockey and son’s volleyball.
